Chief Ken Walters is a native of Gladwin, Michigan.  After high school graduation, Chief Walters served six years in the United States Army.  Chief Walters further attended the University of Kentucky and Delta College for his secondary education.  Ken obtained his Police Officer Certification through Delta College in 1998, and joined the department in 1999.

Since joining the department, Chief Walters has attended numerous instructor schools; and further served as the departments K-9 handler for numerous years.  Ken has also served as an Adjunct Professor and Instructor for Kirtland Community College / Kirtland Regional Police Academy for over 15 years.  Ken was promoted to Chief of Police in 2015.

Sgt. Steve Morris is a native of West Branch.  He attended Kirtland Community College where he obtained an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and became a Certified Police Officer.  He joined the department in 1994 as a full time officer and was promoted to the position of Sergeant in September of 2001. 

Sgt. Morris has attended numerous training seminars such as legal updates, arson investigation, and a week long alert training.

Officer Michael Godfrey grew up in West Branch and graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School.  After graduation he spent the next 2 years attending Kirtland Community College achieving his Associate Degree in Criminal Justice; and attended the Kirtland Regional Police Academy making him a certified police officer.

Michael began his career with the Ogemaw County Sheriff's Department until the time he joined the West Branch Police Department in 2015.

Officer Blake Beehler is a native of Rose City and graduate of Ogemaw Heights High School. After graduating from OHHS, Blake attended Kirtland Community College obtaining his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice.  Officer Beehler further attended the Kirtland Regional Police Academy; upon graduation Blake was hired by the Roswell Police Department in New Mexico.  Blake later returned to Michigan and joined the West Branch Police Department in 2015.

Officer Dalton Worthy is a native of West Branch and graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School.  After graduation, Dalton obtained his Associates Degree from Delta College in Criminal Justice.  Dalton attended the Delta College Police Academy obtaining his certification as a police officer.

Dalton began his career with the Arenac County Sheriff's Office and was hired by the West Branch Police Department in 2015.
