Please note that this new tornado siren will sound different than the normal "noon whistle," and if heard at any time other than the first Friday of the month at 12:10pm, it will signal an actual tornado warning.
However, this Friday's siren, as well as all subsequent tornado sirens on the first Friday of the month at 12:10pm, will only be tests.
