On this first day of December, with snow falling, our Department of Public Works crew has been snow plowing since early morning; Officer Godfrey has maintained patrol and monitored road conditions; our Wastewater personnel have maintained our plant operations; our City Administration has issued tax payments and sent our tax statements; and our City Council is reviewing their 112 page meeting packet.
2019 has been an eventful year of change and transition. The City welcomed new Council Members in January and the City Administration brought about new administrative leadership. Our newest staff member is today marveling at the winter wonderland outdoors and the beauty of the season.
While changes have occurred at the leadership level, the constant remains, that you and our City employees have been dedicated in working for the advancement of our City and insuring that individuals and businesses have been provided superior service.
While 2019 is wrapping up, the City is preparing to welcome a new year filled with hope and inspiration for the future.
As Mayor and on behalf of the City Council, we are very thankful to you and your coworkers for your dedication, hard work and vision for the future.
We are thankful to you and grateful for all you do for the benefit of West Branch.
