Officer Ken Walters

Officer Walters became a member of the department in 1999.  He grew up in Ohio and also in the Gladwin area.  After graduating from high school he spent over 5 years in the United States Army.  After leaving the Army he attended Delta College where he obtained an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice.  He also attended Delta College's Basic Police Academy where he became certified as a police officer.

Since he joined the department Ken has attended numerous in-service training programs and updates.  Officer Walters is also in training at this time with his new partner "Gator".   Gator is a 1 year old German Shepard and once he has completed his training he will be utilized for sniffing drugs, and tracking.
