The City of West Branch is currently accepting applications from anyone interested in serving on the City's Downtown Development Authority (DDA).

Interested parties are required to complete an application, available either at City Hall or by CLICKING HERE.

Applications must be turned in by no later than noon on Wednesday, June 19th at noon so they can be included in the DDA packets for their review.  The DDA will then vote on a recommendation to make to City Council to fill the empty seat during their meeting on Tuesday, June 25th.  The current term is a partial term that is set to expire on January 1, 2028.

The DDA is an unpaid board position with meetings held at 12:00 pm (noon) on the 4th Tuesday of each month in the Council Chambers of West Branch City Hall.  For a complete job description, please CLICK HERE.

All members of all City Boards & Commissions are required by the City Charter to have satisfactory attendance at Board/Commission meetings in order to remain eligible for service.  Therefore, applicants should be willing and able to commit to attending meetings and not missing more than 3 consecutive meetings in a row, nor missing more than 25% of all meetings withing a fiscal year (July 1st-June 30th).
