Outside Sprinkling Meter Policy
1.
An outside sprinkling meter can be purchased from West Branch City Hall
at the current cost of the meter (this changes periodically so call to
get the most recent price). Once you purchase the meter it is yours -
there are no replacements or refunds.
2.
Outside sprinkling meters must be brought in during the winter. If left
outside they will freeze and break.
3.
You are responsible for reading your outside sprinkling meter – you must
submit your meter reading to West Branch City Hall in writing. The numbers
on the meter are read from left to right. On your written meter reading you
must include the service address and your signature.
4.
In order to receive credit on your current bill the meter reading must be
submitted prior to the 25th of
the month before the bill goes out. You will no longer be able to call in
your reading after the bill goes out and receive an immediate adjustment on
your bill.
Although
the City of West Branch Website is updated frequently, it may not be as current
as information available at City Hall.
